Don’t we all look forward to having a snack around 3:30 or 4pm? I know I do! It is important though to choose wisely. You want to make the right choice that does not waste the workout you did nor do you want to spoil your appetite for dinner.

I took a photo here is my Love List of go to snacks that will not only leave you feeling satisfied, but also knowing you don’t have to feel any guilt. No sugary snacks here!

  • Forager Plain Cashew Yogurt- I typically have 1/2 cup with a handful of berries
  • Cucumber slices with a little bit of Yogurt dressing- Cucumbers have negative calories and made up mostly of water. My favorite dressing I drizzle about 1-2 Tablespoons is Bolthouse Cucumber Ranch which you can get in the refrigerated section of most grocery stores.
  • Hard boiled eggs- I always have these in the refrigerator and I encourage you to do the same. I will typically eat two. One whole and then the egg whites of the other. I eat every bite with a little bit of yellow mustard which has zero calories
  • Pickles- I love a good Dill Pickle! If I am having this as a snack I will eat 2 or 3 spears and drizzle a bit of yellow mustard on each. Calorie free snack, however read the label for sodium content. The downside of this snack is the sodium… so drink lots of water!
  • One last snack I did not feature here (as I ate them all) are the individual 100 calorie bags of Skinny Pop popcorn. Perfect guilt free treat wish is low carb and you get your whole grains.

I hope you will try a few of these suggestions and that they satisfy your afternoon cravings. I am researching other ideal snacks to recommend, so keep checking back! Too I am working on a healthy oatmeal cookie you could have as a snack or even for breakfast. Keep checking!
